It is clear that, the music had been popular before or during Tang\u00a0Dynasty (618-907)\u00a0at least, according to the famous poem of The Song of Pipa by Bai Juyi (772-846).<\/p>\n<p>The story behind this music is the key battle of \u00a0the epic war of Chu vs Han in 202 BC.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Xing Yu, \u9879\u7fbd\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Xiang_Yu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Xiang Yu<\/a>, the King of Chu, was ambushed by his rival<a title=\"\u5218\u90a6, Liu Bang\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Emperor_Gaozu_of_Han\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Liu Bang<\/a>, the king of Han (later became the Founding \u00a0Emperor of \u00a0Han Dynasty, 206BC &#8211; 220AD), and had to kill himself.
